Here are 4 things that help most couples take the next step:

 

1. Get the facts first

Decisions are easier when you know what’s actually happening. A free ultrasound appointment confirms 3 things:

  • Is the pregnancy in the uterus?
  • Is there a heartbeat?
  • How far along is she?

That info helps you both understand your options. It’s no-cost and confidential.

Take a breath — you have time.

 

2. Talk with someone you both trust

Some couples tell a friend, family member, or pastor. Some don’t. You set the pace.

The goal: someone who will listen to both of you and stay calm. If you don’t have that person, we’re here. A client advocate at We Care will listen without an agenda.

 

3. You don’t have to be perfect to be present

You might feel unprepared. That’s normal.

Most guys do.

What helps: Show up. Listen. Ask, “What do you need from me today?”

You don’t need all the answers to be the support she needs right now.
